Q.What time do you arrive for setup?

We need approximately 45–60 minutes for setup, so we arrive about an hour before you want us to start serving. Large events (over 100 people) require additional setup time.

Q.What if we don't want setup happening in the middle of the event (such as a wedding)?

We can arrive earlier for setup if necessary, or even the day before. Please note there is an additional charge for early setup — just let us know your needs when booking.

Q.How many hours do you stay?

We'll stay as long as you need! Standard service time is 1.5 hours for smaller events and 2–3 hours for larger groups. Extended service time is available for an additional fee. Note: if you ask us to extend on the day of the event, we can't guarantee our baristas will be available to stay.

Q.How many people can you serve?

We have catered very large events including conventions with thousands of attendees. We have the baristas and equipment to handle coffee catering for groups of any size, depending on staff availability.

Q.What does your staff wear?

For business and formal events, our baristas wear black or white button-down shirts, black pants, black shoes, and black aprons. For less formal events, our staff may dress more casually.

Q.Do you serve alcohol?

Yes! We can add alcohol to any of our beverages. In most cases the event host is responsible for providing the alcohol. We also offer cocktail bar service with bartenders if you supply the alcohol.

Q.How long have you been in business?

The Coffee Catering Company has been operating since 2016 giving our team a decade of experience in coffee and event catering.

Q.Do you have a storefront or coffee shop?

No — we are entirely mobile. Our focus is bringing the coffeehouse experience directly to your event.

Q.How far do you travel?

We are based in the Greater Columbus area and travel throughout the eastern U.S. Travel fees apply for events outside of Columbus. We will travel as far west as Chicago and to the east coast.

Q.How do I book an event?

Submit our online quote request form and we'll respond with a custom quote within 24 hours. Once you're happy with the quote, we'll send a service agreement by email. Your date is confirmed when we receive your signed agreement and a 50% deposit.

Q.Do you require a deposit?

Yes — we require a 50% deposit to hold your date.

Q.How much do you charge?

Pricing varies depending on the number of guests, location, duration, and beverage selections. Every event is unique — please contact us for a custom quote.

Q.What types of events do you cater?

We cater corporate functions, conventions, conferences, weddings, grand openings, brand activations, employee and teacher appreciation events, and similar gatherings. We do not provide service at customer-paid ticketed events.

Q.Can we change our guest count?

Yes — you can adjust your guest count up to 10 days prior to your event.

Q.Do we get a refund if fewer people attend than expected?

We do not offer refunds based on lower-than-expected attendance, as most items we bring are perishable and cannot be reused. Please update your guest count at least 10 days before your event if needed.
